Classroom Expectations
We will be using ClassDojo to monitor student behavior and classroom choices. You will find a list of point values and their colors in the classroom handbook as well as at the top of your child's monthly behavior sheet in their folder. Your child will have an avatar on ClassDojo that will be able to be awarded points as well as have points taken away. Your child’s point value will fluctuate frequently throughout the day. The important thing to remember is that even if your child’s behavior causes them to lose a point or two, they will have the remainder of the day to earn points back. Their point value also starts over each day so they will have a fresh start. Through this program, parents will also have the opportunity to connect with their child's avatar and teacher to view behavior as they please.
