Welcome to Southwood Elementary School

Welcome to Southwood Elementary School, home of the STARS!  The Southwood learning community takes great pride in holding high expectations and providing quality instruction for our students.  We teach our students to be STARS:  Safe, Trustworthy, Accountable, Respectful and Successful. Through our partnership with parents, we work to ensure that our students have a solid foundation to be college and career ready.  We hope you find our school to be warm and inviting.  Use this website as a resource to assist your child in reaching their STAR potential.

Charlotte's Web

We are excited to provide each family with a copy of Charlotte's Web to read with their children. We will be having trivia and activities to go along with the book. Please read a chapter each night with your child. If you are unable to read the chapter we will be placing a link below that will include a video of a staff member reading the Chapters. This is a great opportunity to share a classic book with your family.
