Welcome! I am Callie Hedrick and I am excited to be teaching 2nd and 3rd grade this year! This is my 7th year at Southwood, my 8th year teaching. I have experience teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade, and I was also a reading specialist prior to becoming a classroom teacher.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Catawba College.
I am also licensed to teach Reading to grades K-12.
My goal is to ensure all of my students learn the most they can in my classroom during the school year. I love teaching and working with students to help them grow!
