Title 1

Title 1 Information

Title 1 is a Federal program that helps to support schools with a large population of high poverty students. Our Title 1 program at Southwood allows us to provide extra help in reading and math to qualifying students. Our Title 1 staff works extremely hard for your children.

EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT TITLE 1, TESTING, TSI...

Our Title 1 funds are based on the number of students who qualify for free or reduced lunch, whether they eat the cafeteria lunch or not. We encourage you to complete the application so that we can maintain our current funding which allows us to offer experiences to our students that we would not be able to provide without this funding.
