Principal's Page

It is an honor to introduce myself as the  Principal at Southwood Elementary School.   My name is Anna Ruth Crouse and I am looking forward to carrying on the great tradition that Southwood Elementary has of being a wonderful learning environment for all students.   

This is my 20th year in education and I have had the pleasure of working as a teacher, instructional coach, district instructional coach, and assistant principal in Davidson County. 

I am so excited to serve the students, teachers, and community of Southwood!  I have a passion for education and know that all students can learn and grow academically and socially.  I look forward to serving as your principal and inspiring others to be the best that they can be.
