Welcome! I am Callie Hedrick and I am a 4th grade teacher here at Southwood. This is my 16th year at Southwood, my 17th year teaching.
My Experience: Before moving to 4th grade, I have had experience teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade, and I was also a reading specialist prior to becoming a classroom teacher.
Educational Information: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Catawba College.
I am also licensed to teach Reading to grades K-12.
My goal is to ensure all of my students learn the most they can in my classroom during the school year. I love teaching and working with students to help them grow.
