Mission Statement
The Media Center at Southwood Elementary is the hub of learning. This is the space of the school where communication and ideas are constantly shared. We want our students to enjoy reading, how to find information, and how to use the technology that is readily available for them. By encouraging students to read, this gives them an opportunity to become stronger, life-long learners and to explore different avenues of information literacy.
