Meet Mrs. Crotts
ALL ABOUT: MRS. CROTTS
Hi Everyone, my name is Mrs. Amber Crotts and I am the library media coordinator for Southwood Elementary School. I am from Midway, and I graduated high school from North Davidson. I then went to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and moved back to Midway, where I started teaching 7th grade at North Davidson Middle School. I then went back to school and got my Master’s Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University (online). While teaching for a while longer, I decided to go back to school and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, receiving a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. I guess you can say I really like school!!
I have been married for thirteen years to my wonderful husband, Adam, and we live in Lexington. We have two dogs who rule our home and get everything they want. Their names are Roxy and KoKo. Roxy is a Shih Tzu and she is black and white. She loves wearing bows in her hair, going to the spa, and wearing clothes. KoKo, is a Border Collie/German Shepherd Mix, and she is also black and white. She is a very happy dog and she pretends to herd sheep when she runs outside.
I love spending time with my family, being outside, reading, searching for antiques, technology, and traveling. My favorite color is purple and I like unicorns, Hello Kitty, Pete the Cat, & of course, dogs!! I am so excited to be here and I look forward to working with you this year.
